Hey, thanks for stopping by my website today!  I have been living here on the Outer Banks since 2009 with my wife, Lori, of 30+ years.  We have two daughters, Chloe and Judy, who both have graduated from UNC and are out of the house now.  We have an Australian Shepherd named Moonshine who keeps us busy!

I grew up in Newport News, VA, and graduated from Virginia Tech (1991) and Southeastern Seminary (2002).  I've worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) since 1998, which I love!  We moved here to Northeast NC for me to oversee FCA in this part of the state.  I am an ordained minister with a Master's Degree from seminary and have been working in ministry for over 30 years.  In addition to my role with FCA and working with couples as an officiant, I also serve as an elder/pastor at Nags Head Church here at the beach.

Upon moving here, a friend suggested I look into "marrying people," since I was an actual ordained minister.  I tried it my first year here and LOVED it!  What a tremendous blessing to be able to serve brides and grooms during one of the most important times of your lives.

If you want a non-religious ceremony, then I will kindly refer you to one of my other officiant friends.  My life has forever been changed because of Jesus Christ.  He is my foundation in all I do and who I am, and I want to encourage you to build your marriage, and lives, on Him.  (See Matthew 24:24-27)  I think recognizing the spiritual significance of this moment is too important to overlook or ignore.  If you have questions about God and how to have a relationship with Him, you can click HERE.
